Triathlons

I started to get into triathlons when my advisor was in better shape than I was. I'm supposed to be at the peak of my youth and he can beat me in swimming, biking, and running. I'm not one to back down to an opportunity to improve: academically or physically. I started training and did my first Olympic triathlon in Sept 2011. With the completion of the Texas Ironman I had permission to graduate with my PhD degree. Now I have done three full triathlons. I'm need to train and do a couple of more triathlons before I sign up for the Isklar Norseman Xtreme Triathlon. Looking forward to the challenge.

Scuba Diving

I'm in search of a beautiful mermaid and delicious lobsters. So far I have only been to find the latter and have only stayed the equivalent of two days under water.

Snowboarding

It is scary to think that I'm barreling down a mountain at an average speed of 45 mph and a top speed of 60 mph with nothing but a snowboad a helmet and some padding. My goal is to see if by coating the snowboard better, or with a new polymer I can go an average of 55 mph and top speed of 70 mph. I want to know that I can go faster, but also stop safely.
